1997 marked the year when our Founder, Manh Hoa Nguyen started his travel and tourism career as a local tour guide for Allibert, the world’s largest trekking tour operator at the time. Experiencing natural landscapes and observing local lives in remote places at a young age, Manh Hoa recognized the untapped potentials of adventure travel in Vietnam as well as the significant economic benefits it could bring to local communities.
After 5 years of wandering Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and his homeland - Vietnam, Hoa founded Asia Aventura in 2001 as the first trekking specialized company in Northern Vietnam. Since then, Asia Aventura has grown in scale to partner with a large number of international tour operators to bring the world to visit Indochina.
Sustaining its root in adventure travel, the company has gone beyond its traditional offerings to provide classic highlights and cultural experiences to accommodate a wider range of travelers to must-see destinations of Indochina. In 2010, Manh Hoa established Terra Indochina, a sister company of Asia Aventura, which focused on the not-to-miss experiences of the region.
After over 12 years of operations, Terra Indochina has proven to be a leading and trusted destination management company in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam for tour operators and business partners worldwide.
